Tracey Babb-Morman, MS, LCMHCA Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of North Carolina, with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals and families through life’s most challenging seasons. In addition to providing therapeutic services, I also serve as a School Counselor Consultant, expanding my work with youth, families, and school systems.

I provide therapy for clients facing anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and the lasting impacts of trauma. I also specialize in postpartum, life transitional support, including therapy for women navigating perimenopause and menopause, where hormonal, emotional, and psychological changes are often under-addressed. As part of my trauma-focused work, I am trained as a practitioner in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

I earned my Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Long Island University in New York and have worked extensively in individual, family, and group counseling settings. My therapeutic experience spans a wide range of concerns, including transition stress, illness/disability, developmental issues, relationship dynamics, self-esteem, parenting challenges, and occupational transitions.

My therapeutic approach centers on building a safe, trusting relationship where clients feel seen and supported. I work collaboratively to establish goals and provide compassionate, culturally aware guidance using a combination of Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, EMDR, and Family Systems Theory. I offer an atmosphere of warmth, patience, and nonjudgmental support, creating space for clients to explore, heal, and grow.

Outside of my professional life, I’m a proud wife and mother to two daughters—an adult and a toddler. I enjoy traveling and gardening, and finding joy in the everyday.
