Hello everyone! My name is Sarahi, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate in North Carolina. I completed two Bachelor’s degrees in Social Work and Sociology, with a concentration in Criminology, from UNCG, and I also hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from NCSU. In addition to providing therapeutic services to individuals, I also work as a School Social Worker. I have experience working with K–12 students, supporting their emotional well-being and helping each student feel seen, heard, and empowered to succeed both academically and outside of school. I work with preteens, teenagers, and adults. I am passionate about working with the Hispanic community, with the goal of helping reduce the stigma that exists around mental health within our culture. I offer services in English and Spanish. My approaches are strength-based, person-centered, mindfulness, and trauma informed. I enjoy working with clients navigating anxiety/depression, imposter syndrome, adjustment issues, academic stress, and relationship issues.
Seeking therapy can feel overwhelming, scary, intimidating, and vulnerable. It can feel daunting to take the next step, whether that’s trying to find the right therapist or feeling nervous about starting therapy at all. If you’re here, you’re already showing courage, self-awareness, and a desire for something better, and that matters.
Therapy doesn’t require you to have everything figured out. You don’t need the “right” words or a clear goal to start. My role is to offer a space where you can show up exactly as you are—messy thoughts, heavy feelings, questions, and all without judgment. I work from a place of curiosity, compassion, and collaboration. That means we move at your pace and focus on what matters most to you. Sometimes that looks like talking through what’s been weighing on you, sometimes it’s learning new ways to cope, and sometimes it’s simply having a place to breathe and be heard. Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you’re used to carrying things on your own. You don’t have to do that here. If you’re ready or even just considering it, I’d be honored to walk alongside you in this part of your journey.
Outside of my professional work, I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, reading books, and watching Tv shows/movies.
