I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of North Carolina. I provide counseling services to children and teenagers (ages 5+), as well as adults. I have worked with clients of all ages presenting with a wide variety of concerns, including trauma, depression, anxiety, abuse and neglect, relationship issues, parenting challenges, and behavioral difficulties.
I received my Master’s degree in Counseling, with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in May of 2025. I have training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Play Therapy, Person-Centered Counseling, Motivational Interviewing, and multiple trauma-focused approaches with children and adults.
My approach to counseling is collaborative and strengths-based, and I deeply value the diverse identities and lived experiences of the clients I work with. All are welcome. I believe that clients drive the counseling process to create meaningful change in their own lives. My goal as a counselor is to build supportive, warm, and nonjudgmental relationships with clients to help them understand themselves more deeply and develop tools for addressing challenges.
You are more than the problems you experience. You deserve to live a fulfilling life. I would be honored to support you as you work toward your goals.
Outside of my professional work as a counselor, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading fantasy and science fiction books, exercising, and watching stand-up comedy.
